Travel and Tourism

Strategically located in a key tourist area of the mid-Atlantic region - between Washington, DC and Baltimore, Maryland - WB&A has extensive experience and is well-suited to address the issues faced by organizations in the travel & tourism industry.

WB&A's expertise in this industry is very diverse, including large-scale research projects evaluating and tracking detailed travel patterns of consumers as well as smaller, site-specific studies to understand why consumers visit particular attractions.
In order to accomplish our clients' objectives, we utilized a variety of qualitative and quantitative techniques. For example, in addition to more common research methods (such as telephone interviews and/or focus groups), on-site intercept interviews are sometimes used to obtain immediate reactions to a traveler's experience. This approach is especially useful when the visitors to an attraction are coming from a variety of places - that is, their origin is not concentrated in any one area.
This is just a small sampling of how WB&A's dedicated travel & tourism research experts have helped clients in the past.
