Tom Kowalczyk
Research Director
Tom Kowalczyk is a member of the Project Management team and is responsible for managing the research process from questionnaire development and data collection through data analysis. Specifically, Tom is involved with drafting and revising questionnaires, testing CATI programs, preparing sample, evaluating daily production, proofing data for accuracy, creating and proofing report tables and graphs, and analyzing data for reporting.
Tom has experience conducting research through a variety of research methods, including telephone, Web and mail/self-administered surveys and one-on-one interviewing. Recently, Tom has worked with a number of clients, including the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA), Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA), National Public Radio (NPR), Choice Hotels International, Maryland-National Capital Park & Planning Commission (M-NCPPC) and Euro RSCG Impact.
Tom joined WB&A in November 2005 after graduating Cum Laude as a Sellinger School of Business Scholar from Loyola College in Maryland, where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Marketing. He has also successfully completed a Marketing Research certification program offered by the University of Georgia and the Marketing Research Association. Tom is a member of the Marketing Research Association (MRA) and the American Marketing Association (AMA). He is also certified at the Associate level by the Marketing Research Association's Professional Researcher Certification program.
