National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA)
Our experience in the health care industry and high standards of quality were first recognized in 1999 by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), as WB&A Market Research was certified to conduct HEDIS®1/CAHPS®2 surveys.  As part of this certification, NCQA conducts an annual review of our resources and procedures, finding that we consistently exceed their standards. WB&A continues to be one of a limited number of research firms to be certified by NCQA.

Marketing Research Association’s Professional Researcher Certification (MRA PRC)
WB&A’s project management staff are all among the first to be certified by the Marketing Research Association’s Professional Researcher Certification program.  This program was developed to encourage high standards within the profession in order to raise competency, establish an objective measure of a researcher’s knowledge and proficiency, and encourage continued professional development.  Please refer to individual staff biographies for specific certification information.

U.S. General Services Administration (GSA)
GSA’s mission is to “help federal agencies better serve the public by offering the best value, superior workplaces, expert solutions, acquisition services and management policies.”  WB&A Market Research has been awarded a GSA Multiple Award Schedule contract and is registered in the CCR database.  

American Marketing Association (AMA)
For more than six decades the AMA has been the leading source for information, knowledge sharing and development in the marketing profession.  WB&A’s President, as well as each Vice President, Research Director and Research Manager are all members of the AMA.  In fact, WB&A Market Research has been a Corporate Partner of the Baltimore Chapter of the AMA since 2002.  Renée Henley is a past Vice President Membership for the Baltimore Chapter.

Marketing Research Association (MRA)
The Marketing Research Association is dedicated to advancing the practical application, use and understanding of the opinion and marketing research profession.  WB&A’s President, Vice Presidents and Research Directors are all members of the MRA.

The Council for Marketing & Opinion Research (CMOR)
WB&A is a member of CMOR, a non-profit organization which works on behalf of the survey research industry to improve respondent cooperation in research, to promote positive legislation and to prevent restrictive legislation which could impact the survey research industry.

American Advertising Federation/
The Advertising Club of Metropolitan Washington, Inc. (DC Ad Club)
WB&A is also a member of The Advertising Club of Metropolitan Washington, which has served as the premier industry organization for area advertising professionals since 1918. As a chapter of the American Advertising Federation (AAF), the Ad Club promotes integrity and excellence in advertising through professional development seminars, recognizes industry leaders and outstanding work, and serves as the leading networking venue for the industry.  

The Maryland Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development (MSHSMD)
Allison Shriner – Vice President, Health Care Research – is a member of The Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development (MSHSMD), the premier organization of 3,700 health care professionals responsible for strategy development and implementation in a wide array of health care organizations. The Society is one of 12 personal membership groups affiliated with the American Hospital Association.
