Steve first started working with WB&A as a consultant with his own successful business in 1995. He joined the company’s full-time staff in 1998. However, his extensive experience in conducting primary and secondary marketing and advertising research began in 1976, including serving as Vice President, Director of Research for VanSant Dugdale Advertising, Inc.

Steve is responsible for directing projects from methodology design through analysis and presentation of actionable results. He works primarily in the fields of banking and financial services, professional and industry associations, and government agencies, but has expertise in other business and consumer areas as well.
 
Steve holds Master’s degrees in Advertising from Michigan State University and in Liberal Arts from Johns Hopkins University. He is a member of the American Marketing Association, the Marketing Research Association and the DC Ad Club. In addition, Steve is among the first to be certified at the Expert level by the Marketing Research Association’s Professional Researcher Certification program.
